Nevada Irrigation District Raw Water Master Plan Update

The Nevada Irrigation District operates and maintains an extensive system of canals, pipelines and reservoirs, which supplies customers in Nevada, Placer and Yuba counties.  RBI is assisting NID in updating the Raw Water Master Plan it first adopted in 1985.  The goal of the RWMP update is to assess the long-term water supplies and demands for the District and recommend improvements and provide guidance to assist the District in making wise use of existing resources and meeting future water service obligations. 

This Update is comprised of two phases—Phase 1 will determine existing water supply, demand, and conveyance limitations and identify improvements, and Phase 2 will identify plans for meeting future demands.
