Phase II MS4 Permit Assistance

RBI assisted the City in efficiently and cost-effectively responding to new requirements in the State Water Board’s draft Phase II MS4 general permit by revising its stormwater program to comply with the more complex and prescriptive renewed general permit. The provided services equipped City staff with the knowledge, tools, and direction to effectively plan for its administration of the renewed permit. Specific services included attendance and participation in State Water Board and California Stormwater Quality Association (CASQA) Phase II MS4 permit renewal meetings, preparation of written comments on the city’s behalf for submittal to the SWRCB, review of the draft permit, and advising the City on significant changes and implications for the city’s overall program.
